Per riconoscere lo strumento al quale il consulente applica i suoi segnali, è necessario osservare la parte sinistra della griglia della Cross Table. In particolare si faccia riferimento alle colonne denominate symbol ed Exchange.
Esempio la coppia symbol = FIB e Exchange = IDEM indica che il segnale di consulenza è ottenuto elaborando i dati del FTMIB scambiato all’ IDEM (Italian Derivative Market). Sottolineiamo che nella parte sinistra della Cross Table non è presente il valore di EXPIRY perché il segnale di consulenza è sempre applicato allo strumento finanziario attuale. In questo caso l'utente di WT potrà decidere se applicare questo segnale al derivato nativo FTMIB scambiato su IDEM oppure al derivato similare MINI-FTMIB scambiato sempre all'IDEM.
